What a week it’s been in the music industry! We made some announcements about The VT, what it is, and why it’s awesome. Artists and fans alike are just as excited as we are! Then, Jay-Z and friends held the world’s most awkward launch for the least revolutionary and different streaming company ever. Our article about Tidal has been circulating the globe like crazy this week and we’ve had some wonderful conversations with so many great music fans. As always, thanks for your support and engagement!
The biggest non-business event this past week was the hospitalization of the legendary Joni Mitchell. On Tuesday, 31 March, Ms. Mitchell was found unresponsive in her Los Angeles home. According to updates on Mitchell’s official website, she remained in intensive care at an L.A. area hospital where she underwent further testing. The official website shared an update on the singer yesterday which stated: “Joni remains under observation in the hospital and is resting comfortably. We are encouraged by her progress and she continues to improve and get stronger each day.” A website has been set up where fans may post their well wishes and messages of support; visit WeLoveYouJoni.com if you’d like to send a note!

All of us at Thirty Roses send our best to Joni Mitchell! <3
