Meet the digital love-child of MTV + Rolling Stone magazine

After months of me talking about The VT here and there and dropping hints that something would be happening with it soon, I’m happy to report that it’s all coming together! Thanks to the drive and diligence of VT founder, Nick Blake, artists and industry folk have been excited about The VT from day one but there was a lot of business and licensing minutiae that needed to be dealt with before we could share it all with the world. Now we’re getting tons of subscribers, our first zine is out (thanks to Nick and print mastermind Sean Box!) and artists are flocking to us to be a part of this genesis. So, for those who may not know, what exactly is The VT?

We’re an artist collective, a creative renaissance, devoted to harmony and goodwill among all beings across the universe. We’ve got a basic streaming channel running on our blog, vishnustrumpet.com, that’s full of amazing new artists you need to be paying attention to.

This year we’re launching an innovative new app. One that truly “cuts the cord” — you don’t even need an internet connection to tune in! And with global rights to all our content, you can find your jams anywhere in the world, anytime, for free.

We’ve also kicked off an indie zine, a monthly mailer devoted to the artists we love.

The Streaming Service

We are very excited about our innovative streaming service! Like most things we do, it’s unlike anything else out there.
The core service is simple: You launch the app and it plays a non-stop stream of amazing music that will make your soul explode with joy. Each week we’ll deliver a fresh set of jams to your app that you can listen to and download.

We also offer exciting features you won’t find anywhere else. For example, our service requires NO TELECOM CONNECTION. Yeah, you read that right. You can listen anywhere on your smartphone whether you’re connected to the internet or not. There’s no buffering. No waiting. And no jacked-up phone bills for you.
