Noughts and Exes, Goodnight and Goodbye

A few moments ago Noughts and Exes took their final bow as a band. Our story is unique to us with the tumultuous history of my life leading me to them and a series of less-than-perfect partnerships leading them to me. We were journalist/band, then consultant/band, then manager/band; all the while building and sustaining a friendship across the globe. There have been countless Skype calls, hundreds of emails, and text messages numbering well into the jillions, and somehow through all of that, we’ve never managed to meet.
To my Noughties; Joshua, Alex, Alix, and Gideon (Adam, Yuki, and the Winnies, too!) I can’t thank you enough for putting your trust in me, for having faith in me, and for allowing me to represent something you’ve invested so much of yourselves in. I’ll miss reading contracts, chasing down Joshua for something he was supposed to have sent me a week ago, and general nonsensical banter. You’ll always be my favorites and I truly hope you know you always have me on your side.

Goodnight, yes. Goodbye? Never.
