Happy Weekend!

Greetings, one and all! First, allow me to thank those who sent birthday greetings to me via Facebook, Twitter, and email. It was a lovely day thanks to the people I’m lucky to have in my life. I even got…wait for it…thirty roses delivered to my doorstep.
Yesterday and today were both very significant dates in music history.
On September 5, 1946 the incomparable Freddie Mercury was born! September 6, 1968 The Beatles recorded overdubs for one of my favorite songs ever While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
With those two things in mind, here are two amazing songs to kick of your Saturday morning.
