Colbie Caillat Reinforces Beauty's Reality in “Try” Video

Colbie Caillat has made a concerted effort to prove a point in the video for her new single, ‘Try.’ Sometimes it’s hard to remember just how processed and filtered videos and photos really are. This leads to very skewed perceptions of reality and how musicians and film stars actually look. Quelle surprise, they look just like everyone else! They have blemishes, wrinkles, freckles, grey hair, outfits they pick out on the fly, favorite old t-shirts, tattered jeans, and everything else ‘regular’ people have. Kudos to Colbie for going makeup-less in her video, and thanks to all of the gorgeous women who celebrated their awesomeness along with her.
