Greetings, darling readers. While I know this is where we would typically do our Happy Weekend post, it seems slightly inappropriate given the devastation in Canada at the moment. While Thirty Roses isn’t really a current events publication, think of the endless number of amazing musicians and producers who have come from Canada. Furthermore, sometimes tragic events occur and the music industry has to be put on the back burner for a moment and we have to help our fellow citizens and friends.
THIS article on the CBC has a great list of Twitter pages and emergency contacts so you can check on water levels, affected communities, and road closures.

We have a lot of readers and subscribers from Canada and, in addition to being monumentally grateful for your support over the years, we hope you and your families and friends are safe.
And now a little music…a gorgeous song from one of the most brilliant people Canada has given the world, monsieur Daniel Lanois.
Much love, everyone.
