‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’

The Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting was one of the most tragic events in the history of the United States. In an effort to begin the healing process, and raise money for their hometown, some of the survivors of that horrific event, have recorded a song for their fallen friends.
A group of children, all aged 6-9 years, recently went to the home recording studio of Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth of the Talking Heads, to record the Judy Garland classic ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow.’ All proceeds will go to The Newtown Youth Academy and The United Way of Western Connecticut.
