Thirty Roses Year in Review

As I read my ‘year end’ statistics, I couldn’t help feel a combination of shock and absolute humility. It’s amazing to me how successful this has become since it began in late January of 2012. Since then, I’ve had so many amazing discussions about the insanity of the music industry and had what can only be described as the greatest learning experience of my life.

Most of my writing is done in my home office, (accompanied by my dog, Billy, who is undeniably the brains of our operation) or at a nearby coffee shop. From my small corner of suburban Chicago, I’ve had readers from 56 countries, advised, consulted with, encouraged and discouraged artists throughout the world, and met people whom have become cherished colleagues and friends.

To say ‘thank you’ seems to border on trite, but with utmost sincerity, I thank you all. Here’s to a happy, healthy, and musical 2013!
